LinguaSong Receives Rare PBS Endorsement And
Use Of Its Logo
As the Vice President of Vermont Public Television, I listen to
many pieces of music every year. Most of them are regional in scope
and limited to soundtracks and other compositions for entertainment
purposes.I have yet to listen to a CD which has the potential to
raise the bar of quality, on a national level, in the genre for
which it was conceived. Until Now.
Willinda has produced a very
exciting collection of music. Willinda's CDs are comprised of musical
poems, each one highlighting a specific sound of the spoken English
language. These songs transcend the available music on the
market, offering parents and young children an opportunity to deepen
their relationship and explore the beginnings of language development.
The lyrics are loving and gentle, the music is captivating, the
sound production is of the highest standard, and the language components
are delivered invisibly. Each composition is accompanied by clear
written instructions for parents and caregivers to make optimum
use of the sound experience. Language acquisition is an essential
precursor to literacy and LinguaSong raises awareness and exposure
to language at the earliest age.
A child with strong language skills will be more confident
with peers, in school, and throughout life. Willinda is working
in association with Vermont Public Television in an ongoing effort
to produce educational tools in both audio and video format. We
look forward to ensuring that LinguaSong achieve its rightful place
as a valuable learning tool all over the English speaking world.
